Graduates of the Department of New Media and Communication at Istanbul Aydın University are systematically and regularly monitored by the university’s Career Center. In order to support the employment processes of graduates who have not yet entered professional life after graduation, the Career Center plays an active role by guiding them toward suitable fields and positions in line with their interests, competencies, and educational backgrounds. Within this framework, the aim is to enable graduates to continue their professional development, maintain their connection with the business world, and shape their career plans in a more structured and effective manner.
In addition, graduates of the Department of New Media and Communication maintain their academic and professional ties with the department by participating in various events organized by the department. Through activities such as talks, seminars, workshops, and industry meetings, alumni have the opportunity to follow current developments in the field while interacting with students and academic staff. These events contribute to keeping graduates’ professional knowledge and experience up to date, while also strengthening the department’s industry network and ensuring sustainable alumni–student engagement.
