The "News Photography Workshop" organized by the Journalism Department was carried out by Lecturer Furkan RUŞEN every Tuesday between 13.00-15.00 for 1 month.

The Istanbul Aydın University Journalism Club organized a Fact-Checking Training Workshop as part of the 4th Term UNIDES Project on Strategies to Prevent Disinformation, with the participation of Koray Kaplıca, Chief Coordinator of Doğruluk Payı.
At the event organized for journalism students, a news writing workshop was conducted under the guidance of experienced journalist Filiz Güler Gülbek. In the workshop, participants went beyond the classic 5W1H (Who, What, When, Where, Why, How) rule, focusing on how creative and high-quality journalism can be achieved. Participants had the opportunity to experience that journalism is not merely about conveying information, but involves a journalism approach that touches society, includes human stories, and is enriched with in-depth narratives. Thanks to the interactive nature of the workshop, practical exercises were carried out on different storytelling techniques and elements that add depth to news reporting.
