Moderated by Dr. Lecturer Sertaç Kaya, an event titled "On Sports Journalism I: Sports Broadcasting on Television" was held with the participation of news program host Serkan Yetkin and technical director/sports commentator Alp Pehlivan.
Under the moderation of Dr. Lecturer Sertaç Kaya, an event titled "On Sports Journalism II: The Journey of Sports News from the Field to the Page" featured Sözcü Newspaper’s Sports Service Manager/Journalist Bahadır Çokişler, Sports Editor Utkan Aydın, Assistant Sports Service Manager/Journalist Yasin Yıldırım, and Sports Reporter Aykut Coşkun.
Documentary Film Screening: The Journalism Department and the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department organized a screening of the documentary film "The Man Who Touches Life" as part of a Scientific Research Project.
Dr. Lecturer Hüseyin Kazan delivered a seminar on "Effective Communication and Leadership" within the scope of the 1000 Schools Project in Vocational Education.
A seminar titled "The Process of Participation in FIAP and PSA Patronized International Photography Competitions" was organized under the moderation of Dr. Lecturer Olcay UÇAK, with participation from Prof. Dr. Özer Kanburoğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Istanbul Aydın University.

In the "Sports Journalism and Sports Programming" course taught by Lecturer Tunç ELİBOL, Fenerbahçe TV presenter Kıvanç ÖZKÖK participated as a guest. In the same course, Fenerbahçe TV News Director Serhan HAYAT also participated as a guest speaker.
As part of the Journalism Talks series, a “Basic Disaster Awareness Seminar” was organized with the participation of AKUT Foundation. The event, moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Ayşegül Akaydın Aydın from the Department of Journalism, was attended by students from the Journalism, New Media, and Communication departments. Awareness-raising activities were conducted to sensitize students within the scope of Disaster Preparedness Day.
Within the Journalism Talks series, an event titled “New Media, New Opportunities: Generating Revenue in Journalism through Digital Advertising” was held with the participation of Dr. Cenap Coşkun, Digital Advertising Director at Melon Advertising, moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Ayşegül Akaydın Aydın from the Department of Journalism.
The “Media Talks” event on “The Importance of Combating Disinformation in the Media,” organized in collaboration between Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Communication Journalism Club and the Media Academy Association (MAKDER), was successfully held.
Celal Korkut, former General Manager of DHA and journalist-author, was a guest in the “Agency Journalism” course conducted by Lecturer Metin Yener. He was thanked for his participation and valuable insights.
As part of the Journalism Talks series, an event titled “Artificial Intelligence and Journalism” was held with the participation of Cumhuriyet.com.tr Publishing Coordinator Ercan Erdal, Responsible Editor Mustafa Birol Güger, and SEO Chief Editor Nilay Küçük. The event featured comprehensive information about AI tools used in journalism and SEO techniques. Participants discussed the impact of these technologies on journalism practice and their potential future applications.
