Employers & Sectoral Partners

The Political Science and International Relations Program at Istanbul Aydın University has a strong framework of industry collaboration and workplace-based learning (internships) designed to enhance students' professional competencies and facilitate early engagement with the professional world. Through the three-semester compulsory workplace practice integrated into the curriculum, students are provided with opportunities to apply the theoretical knowledge and analytical skills they acquire during their undergraduate studies in public institutions, private sector organizations, and relevant professional fields. The workplace practice courses contribute to the development of students' professional skills—such as problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and the use of technology—in real work environments, and systematically support the acquisition of work experience prior to graduation.

Workplace practice and optional internship processes are coordinated by the relevant units of the university through digital platforms in a transparent and traceable manner, and students are guided toward appropriate institutions and organizations through collaborations established with the professional sector. Internship and workplace practice evaluation surveys are administered regularly each semester, and the student feedback obtained is analyzed by the department and related centers to inform the continuous improvement of the program's applied learning components. This integrated structure strengthens the program's alignment with sector expectations, facilitates students' transition to employment after graduation, and contributes to the education of graduates equipped with the qualifications demanded by the labor market.
