The Political Science and International Relations program at Istanbul Aydın University is delivered by a strong and well-balanced academic staff. The faculty members involved in the program are structured in both quality and quantity to support the department's academic and scientific objectives. The presence of academic staff holding diverse academic titles enhances scholarly productivity while also strengthening student–faculty interaction.

The department's academic staff includes 2 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 5 Assistant Professors (PhD), 1 Research Assistant with a PhD, and 3 Research Assistants. This diversity enables students to benefit from a wide range of areas of expertise and to follow contemporary academic debates from a multidimensional perspective. The full-time employment of all academic staff members allows for the provision of regular academic advising, the delivery of courses in a coherent and high-quality manner, and the active involvement of students in research activities.

In this respect, the Department of Political Science and International Relations offers students a research-oriented, interactive learning environment supported by strong academic guidance.
