The Program of Public Administration at Istanbul Aydın University follows a determined roadmap to certify the quality of its education in line with national and international standards. As a result of this strategic vision, the Program has successfully completed the Institutional Accreditation Report (IAR) processes prepared within the framework of the 5 main criteria, 22 standards, and 56 sub-standards determined by the Council of Higher Education Quality (YÖKAK), and has been granted accredited status. Within the scope of the online preliminary visit in 2021 and the on-site visits in 2022, the institution’s strategic plans, performance indicator reports, and internal evaluation processes were meticulously examined by the YÖKAK Evaluation Team. Following interviews conducted with university management, external stakeholders, and students, the institution’s level of quality maturity was officially recognized. This accreditation signifies the up-to-dateness of the curriculum and the full compliance of institutional governance processes with national higher education norms.
Within this framework, the curriculum of the Program of Public Administration has been structured in alignment with the Turkish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQFHE). Program learning outcomes have been matched with the knowledge, skills, and competence dimensions of the TQFHE. Course learning outcomes and assessment and evaluation processes have been designed in accordance with a transparent and traceable approach based on the TQFHE, thereby supporting the national and international recognition of graduates.
