Economics and Finance (English)

The Department of Economics and Finance (English) equips students with the theoretical and practical foundation necessary to understand the functioning of the global economic system, analyze financial markets, and play an active role in decision-making processes. The program offers a strong curriculum in core areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, financial analysis, international trade, monetary policy, and capital markets.
Today, artificial intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly transformative role in the fields of economics and finance. Applications such as data analytics, algorithmic trading, predictive modeling, and decision support systems enable faster and more accurate economic analysis. Therefore, our curriculum encourages students to become familiar with AI-based tools and to apply these technologies to real-world economic problems.
As the medium of instruction is English, students gain proficiency in both academic and professional English. Learning entirely in English enables them to follow international literature, communicate effectively in the global business environment, and access academic opportunities abroad. English education provides a significant advantage for our graduates in achieving their international career goals.
Graduates of the program pursue careers in a wide range of sectors including banking, insurance, investment consultancy, public institutions, international organizations, research centers, and technology companies. Moreover, with skills that intersect with emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and data science, our graduates gain a strong competitive edge in the digital economy.
