Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This course aims to give the basic definitions and concepts of the Algebra and applications of the algebric structures.
Course Content This course covers,groups and subgroups, cyclic groups, homomorphism of groups and isomorphism, finite permutation groups, direct sum and direct product, Cayley theorem, normal subgroups, nilpotent and solvable groups, quotient groups and Sylow theorems, Ring and ideals, integral domain, quotient rings, isomorphism and homomorphism of the ring, Polinomial rings, Euclid's rings, maximal ideals, field extentions, Galois groups.

1Groups and subgroups.
2Cycle groups, homomorphism of groups and isomorphism.
3Finite permutation groups.
4Direct sum and direct product.
5Cayley theorem, normal subgroups.
6Nilpotent and solvable groups.
7Quotient groups and Sylow theorems.
8Ring and ideals.
9Integral domain, quotient ring.Midterm Exam.
10Isomorphisms and homomorphisms of the ring.
11Polinomial rings, Euclid's rings.
12Maximal ideals.
13Field extentions.
14Galois groups.
