The mission of the Preschool Teacher Education Program at Istanbul Aydın University is to educate qualified teachers who can follow contemporary approaches and scientific developments in early childhood education and effectively apply them in educational settings. The program aims to provide teacher candidates with a strong theoretical foundation and to integrate this knowledge with practice-based teaching skills that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor development of children aged 0–6.

Beyond training preschool teachers, the program seeks to educate professionals who collaborate with families, are sensitive to children’s health and educational needs, and work in cooperation with relevant social institutions, thereby contributing to societal development. The program adopts a contemporary and holistic educational approach by combining theoretical knowledge with fieldwork and up-to-date research opportunities.
