In the English Language Teaching Program, students are regarded as key stakeholders in the teaching and learning processes and are actively involved in decision-making and continuous improvement activities. Student participation is ensured through a student representation system, regular feedback mechanisms, and various communication channels.
Student representatives, elected at the beginning of each academic year, take part in department- and faculty-level meetings and convey students' views and suggestions to the relevant boards.
Through this structure, feedback on academic, administrative, and social issues is systematically collected. In addition, course and instructor evaluation surveys, program evaluation surveys, and satisfaction surveys are administered. The data obtained are used to identify the strengths of the program and areas requiring improvement, contributing to ongoing quality enhancement.
Moreover, students are able to communicate their opinions and suggestions directly through the academic advising system, departmental meetings, e-mail, and online communication platforms. Student involvement is considered a core component of the English Language Teaching Program's quality assurance processes. Within this framework, teacher candidates are encouraged to participate in the Erasmus exchange program and to engage with international individuals and institutions through conferences organized by the faculty.
