You have just made one of the most important decisions of your life. You are now university students—welcome to our university.

Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Pharmacy was established with the aim of educating pharmacists who possess not only traditional pharmaceutical knowledge but also the competencies required by emerging technologies. Our Faculty is located on the Istanbul Aydın University Florya Campus, which holds a green campus certification, and has the physical infrastructure and technical equipment necessary to support all types of academic research in addition to undergraduate education.

Our curriculum has been prepared in accordance with Bologna criteria, the National Core Pharmacy Education Program, and international quality standards, ensuring that you graduate as pharmacists recognized both nationally and internationally. Following five years of pharmacy education, you will enter a valuable and respected profession with career opportunities in community pharmacy, the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, public institutions, hospitals, research centers, and universities.

Through the structured course programs and the guidance of your academic advisors, you will be able to specialize further during your final year by selecting elective courses in areas such as community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, or pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy. The Diploma Supplement that will accompany your degree will reflect your selected courses, completed projects, and academic achievements, thereby enhancing your opportunities to work internationally. The fact that our Faculty is located on the same campus as the Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Medicine Hospital will also contribute significantly to the effectiveness of your hospital internships and clinical pharmacy training.

We place great importance on collaboration between the pharmaceutical industry and the university in pharmacy education. It is now time for our national pharmaceutical industry to move beyond generic drug production and join the ranks of global leaders producing original pharmaceuticals. To achieve this goal, there is a growing demand for highly qualified pharmacists to take active roles in the industry.
