The total number of students enrolled in the Faculty is 1,263, of whom 867 are studying in the Turkish program and 396 in the English program. Educational activities are carried out across three campuses: Esenyurt, Büyükçekmece, and Florya.
Within the clinical infrastructure, the distribution of dental units is as follows:
• Esenyurt Campus: 103 dental units
• Büyükçekmece Campus: 12 dental units
• Florya Campus: 98 dental units
Accordingly, a total of 213 dental units are actively in service within the faculty. In addition, there are two operating rooms for clinical surgical procedures.
Laboratory Infrastructure
Skill-based preclinical training is conducted using modern simulation infrastructure. The following laboratory facilities are available to support preclinical and clinical education:
• Prosthodontics Laboratory
• Orthodontics Laboratory
• Plaster Laboratories (2)
• Acrylic Laboratories (2)
• Manipulation / Phantom Laboratory with a capacity 0f 100 students
• Simulation (Phantom) Laboratory with a capacity of 122 students
Within our faculty, there is also a research laboratory open to undergraduate and graduate students as well as academic staff. The laboratory is equipped with a chewing simulator, deep freezer, incubator, distilled water device, precision cutting machine, precision balance, loading and fracture (strength testing) device, polishing device, and a micro-tensile testing device.
The faculty also includes a Radiology Department, Temporomandibular Joint Clinic, Central Sterilization Unit, Patient Observation Rooms, Prosthodontics Laboratory, Orthodontics Laboratory, Gerodontology Clinic, Children’s Waiting Area, Conference Hall, and study and rest rooms.
