​The Istanbul Aydın University Talent Management Application and Research Center (AYY-MER) conducts research and practical activities to identify and develop the potential of talented individuals who are of particular importance to the university and to utilise their abilities in ways that contribute to institutional development.

The Center aims to improve processes for systematically identifying talented individuals, guiding them towards fields suited to their competencies, supporting their development, strengthening their commitment to the institution, and ensuring their continued involvement within the university. Within this framework, the Center conducts research and practical activities that support the academic, professional, and personal development of students and academics.

AYY-MER's areas of activity include identifying prospective students with high potential and guiding them towards suitable fields; determining talented students' areas of interest and competence; conducting personal development and leadership programmes; encouraging students to pursue postgraduate education and academic careers; providing career guidance; and exploring employment opportunities after graduation.

The Center also undertakes activities aimed at developing academic human resources. In this regard, it seeks to conduct research and practical initiatives that strengthen the institutional adaptation and commitment of newly appointed academics, support their career development, and contribute to establishing a sustainable academic working environment within the university.

Adopting a research-oriented approach that places active and productive academics at its centre, AYY-MER aims to contribute to the development of employment and talent management policies suited to the dynamic nature of higher education, the enhancement of educational quality, and the strengthening of the university's institutional capacity.

Accordingly, the Center establishes a sustainable link between individual talent and institutional development, thereby contributing to the advancement of Istanbul Aydın University's education, research, and human resource capacity.
