Dr. Arta ARMANI, Faculty Member of the Department of Medical Biology and Genetics (English Program) at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Medicine, Coordinator of International Academic Relations, and Director of the Istanbul Aydın University Health Service Policy Implementation and Research Center, visited the University of Trieste from 13–17 April 2026 within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program, representing Istanbul Aydın University.

During the visit, Dr. Arta ARMANİ was hosted by faculty members from two different academic units and actively participated in research and academic activities at Cattinara Hospital (Breast Unit) and the Department of Life Sciences (Functional Genomics).

In addition, meetings with the International Office of the University of Trieste addressed strategic areas including the development of existing academic collaborations between the two institutions, the expansion of Erasmus+ mobility opportunities, and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) within the framework of the Executive Protocol.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to further develop academic relations between Istanbul Aydın University and the University of Trieste, explore new opportunities for joint research and education, and strengthen scientific cooperation between Türkiye and Italy.
