Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The program aims to provide students with the ability to model automotive parts using computer-aided drafting programs (CAD) in accordance with technical drawing principles and to effectively utilize digital tools in the design process.
Course Content It covers practical instruction in drafting, geometric constraints, dimensioning, solid model creation and editing, assembly processes, and technical drawing creation in solid modeling programs.

1Introducing solid modeling programs and explaining their place and importance in the industry.
2Introduction to the Sketch Environment, Design (Element) Tree, Introduction to menu elements.
3Examine Keyboard Shortcuts, Toolbars and Their Arrangement, Mouse Buttons.
4Examining the Commands Used in the Drafting Environment: Using and applying the Drawing Commands: *Drawing a Line, *Drawing a Rectangle, *Drawing a Circle, *Drawing a Polygon, *Drawing an Arc, *Drawing an Ellipse, *Drawing a Fillet, *Drawing a Chamfer, *Drawing a Curved Line.
5Examining the Commands Used in the Sketch Environment: Using and applying Drawing Commands: *Mirroring Objects, *Scale, *Translate Objects, *Trim Objects, *Extend Objects, *Move, *Copy, *Rotate, *Linear Drawing Duplication, *Circular Drawing Duplication.
6Examine and implement the operations for assigning geometric constraints to sketches: *Adding Relationships, *Geometric Relationships, *Fix, *Parallel, *Right Angle.
7Examine and implement the operations for assigning geometric constraints to sketches: *Equal, *Tangent, *Correcting Constraint Errors, *Displaying and Deleting Geometric Relations.
