Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The concept of masonry structure, basic internal and external elements, the concept and formation of the carrier system, masonry construction techniques and unit building materials (adobe, natural stone, terracotta) architecture to provide research and produce new information.
Course Content Structural properties and physical environments of materials in masonry structures, causes of deterioration in masonry structures, types of deterioration and detailed protection of the system from foundation to roof are covered.
