History

The Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Sports Management departments within our Faculty started receiving students in the 2017-2018 academic year at various units of Istanbul Aydın University. With the establishment of our Faculty in May 2018, the Coaching Education and Recreation departments were also opened. Thus, our Faculty, which continues its education and training activities with four departments, continuously strengthens both its academic staff and sports facilities every year. With the education programmes conducted at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels at our Faculty, teachers, sports managers, coaches, sports scientists and academics are trained in the field of physical education and sports. Our Faculty offers undergraduate programmes in Sports Management, Coaching Education, Physical Education and Sports Teaching, and Recreation; it also offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes under the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
