Student admissions to the Midwifery program began for the first time in the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. The Midwifery program has 7 permanent faculty members: 1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, and 3 Assistant Professors. Prof. Dr. Nuran KÖMÜRCÜ specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semra BÜLBÜLOĞLU specializes in Surgical Nursing, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cennet ÇİRİŞ YILDIZ specializes in Nursing Management. Dr. Tuğba ŞAHİN TOKATLIOĞLU specializes in Psychiatry and Mental Health Nursing, Dr. İrem YAMAN specializes in Medicine-Gynecology, and Lecturer Beyzanur İŞBAY AYDEMİR specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing. The head and founder of the Midwifery program is Associate Professor Dr. Semra BÜLBÜLOĞLU, and the ECTS and Erasmus Coordinator is Dr. Öğr. Tuğba ŞAHİN TOKATLİOĞLU is a member of the faculty. The midwifery program is conducted based on the principle that courses are taught by faculty members and staff who are experts in their field. If a course is included in the curriculum but there is no faculty member with expertise in that field on the permanent staff, faculty members are assigned from other units. Units collaborating with the midwifery program include programs other than midwifery within the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, the Vocational School of Health Services, and programs under the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Muammer KURŞUN, the Faculty Secretary of Health Sciences, provides administrative support to the midwifery program.​
