Midwifery is specialized due to independent, and directly administered professional training program structure. Every professional who has received midwifery training and successfully completed the training process receives the title of "midwife." Midwives transform their knowledge and skills to professional practice in childbirth and postnatal, monitoring and promoting the health of the newborn. Midwifery is a health discipline and scientific profession that addresses women's sexual and reproductive health throughout their lives, promotes and supports family and child health, and provides midwifery care when necessary.
