The Civil Engineering Laboratories of Istanbul Aydın University provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to apply and test the theoretical knowledge acquired during their courses through practical experiments. The Civil Engineering Department has 5 laboratories, namely, Structural Materials, Structural Engineering, Hydraulics, Geotechnics and Geomatics Laboratories with new equipments of modern technology for research and educational purposes with a floor space of 950 square meters. In this way, it is aimed to prepare students as well-equipped engineers for their professional careers after graduation. The Civil Engineering Laboratories also offer graduate students the opportunity to become distinguished engineers and researchers. The laboratories are fully prepared to share all existing facilities with the construction sector and are open to cooperation in many areas, ranging from structural analysis to consultancy services.
