Message from the Head of the Program

The English Accounting and Financial Management Program has been operating since 2025 with the aim of training qualified professionals who document, record, report, and analyze all financial transactions in businesses. The main objective of the program is to ensure that graduates possess the knowledge and skills to conduct the financial and accounting operations of public and private sector businesses in accordance with national and international regulations. To this end, during the four-year education period, students first take fundamental courses such as economics, business administration, mathematics, law, and statistics; in subsequent semesters, they gain professional expertise through courses focused on accounting and finance. In their third year, students take faculty elective courses from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences' common course pool; in their fourth year, they choose university elective courses according to their interests and personal development. Furthermore, in the final year, students are supported in gaining experience in professional practice through Workshop courses consisting of seminars and applied content contributed by field experts.

Upon completing their education, students can obtain the professional title of "Certified Public Accountant" by passing the "Certified Public Accountant" exam and completing the mandatory internship period. If they meet the necessary conditions, they can also obtain the title of "Certified Financial Advisor". Graduates who successfully pass the "Independent Auditor" exam conducted by the Public Oversight Authority can work as "Independent Auditors," verifying the accuracy and reliability of businesses' financial transactions on behalf of third parties. In addition, graduates can be employed as specialists in public institutions such as the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Court of Accounts, the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, and the Capital Markets Board. Students aiming for an academic career can continue their education in the Accounting and Auditing master's and doctoral programs conducted within the Institute of Social Sciences; they can also develop their international academic competencies through the English-language master's program in this field.
