The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Istanbul Aydın University comprises eight academic departments: Molecular Biology and Genetics (English), Psychology (Turkish & English), Sociology, History, Turkish Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, and Translation and Interpretation in Arabic, Russian, and English. The faculty employs a total of 56 academic staff members across these departments. The Psychology and Turkish Language and Literature departments have the largest number of faculty members, while the Molecular Biology and Genetics program maintains smaller but focused academic teams. The Faculty represents a balanced academic structure between the natural and social sciences, promoting interdisciplinary research and high-quality education in both domains.
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences offers a total of nine undergraduate programs. These programs include Psychology (Turkish & English), Sociology, History, Turkish Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, as well as Translation and Interpreting programs in English, Russian, and Arabic.
