Research Areas & Groups

Research activities at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences are conducted in line with institutional research policies that prioritize scientific productivity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and societal contribution. The Faculty's main research areas include natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, language and literature studies, cultural studies, applied sciences, and data-driven analytical approaches. Within these fields, academic staff carry out national and international research projects through discipline-based and interdisciplinary research groups. These research groups focus on priority themes such as sustainability, digitalization, cultural heritage, gender studies, environmental awareness, and the relationship between education and society. Research groups within the Faculty actively support the involvement of undergraduate and graduate students in research processes, contributing to the development of a strong research-based learning culture through scientific publications, project development activities, and international academic collaborations.
