Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	1- To provide the basic knowledge of management to the students of political sciences and international relations. 2- To highlight the practical aspects of the management science as well as the theoretical aspects. 3- To train students as leader.
Course Content	1. Introductory remarks about the science of management 2. Definition of an exceptional manager: Does what and how? 3. Theory of management: Basic skills of an exceptional manager 4. Environment of the management. 5. Changing environment of the management and ethical responsibilities: Doint the right things 6. Global management: Management across borders 7. Planning: The base of successful management 8. Strategic management: How exceptional managers achieves exceptional results? 9.Individual and group decision making: How managers do the things? 10. Organizational culture, structure and design: Baseline of the organization. 11. Human resources management: Right people for management success. 12. Organizational change, development and innovation: Challemges of an exceptional manager 13. Leadership: 14. Managing the individual differences and behaviors: Controlling the humans as humans 15. Motivating the workers: Having extra ordinary success in management. 16. Groups and teams: Increasing collaboration and reducing disputes. 17. Power, impact and leadership: From managers to leaders. 18. Communication amongst individuals and within the organization: Mastering knowledge management. 19. Controlling: Techniques to improve organizational efficiency.
