Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The objective of this course is to introduce the main features of Turkish political system and discuss current political issues.
Course Content	The course will cover the follwing issues: - overall characteristics and structure of the Turkish State, - main constitutional principles on political procedures - state organs - checks and balances - political party system, - election system, - civilian/military relations and - secularity.

Learning Outcomes

Comprehend the political science theories and practices.
Comprehend the theories and practices of international relations.
Identify the basic principles and concepts of management science.
Use basic legal knowledge within the discipline of political science and international relations.
Use general knowledge of economics and green economics within the discipline of political science and international relations.
Comprehend the political history of Turkey and of the world.
