Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The primary objective of this course is to provide a profound examination of foreign policy decision-making process.
Course Content The actors (individuals/leaders, groups, organization and bureaucratic politics) and factors (internal and external issues) in foreign decision-making process are the main topics to be analyzed, taking into account different theoretical perspectives. Then, the 5 cases, such as Turkish Foreign Policy, US Foreign Policy, Russian Foreign Policy, Iranian Foreign Policy and Israeli Foreign Policy, will be analyzed applying the models of Foreign Policy Analysis.
