Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The course is intended to provide the participants with a comprehensive and systematic knowledge on 20th-century world history.
Course Content The course is planned to provide students with fundamental notions on historical facts from the aftermath of the First World War until 2001. The economic and social framework of political developements will be stressed within the course. The historical narrative, which will cover the main political events and facts of the 20th century, will be reinforced with data on social, economic, and ideological structures of the period.
