Message from the Head of Department

Universities are not only institutions where knowledge is produced and transferred, but also safe, peaceful, and sustainable living spaces. With this understanding, our primary duty as the Security Directorate is to ensure the highest level of personal and property safety for our students, academic and administrative staff, and visitors across all campuses of our university.

Our Presidency operates in accordance with Law No. 5188 on Private Security Services and related legislation, based on a preventive security approach. We make effective use of technological capabilities in providing security services; we ensure the uninterrupted security of our campuses through camera and surveillance systems, checkpoints, and patrol services. Being prepared for potential emergencies and responding quickly and effectively are among our primary objectives.
