About Us

The Security Directorate provides services to ensure that education, teaching, research, and social activities can be carried out in a safe environment across all campuses of our university. Our Directorate considers the protection of the life and property safety of our students, academic and administrative staff, and visitors to our university as its primary duty.

Our Directorate operates in accordance with all relevant legislation, primarily Law No. 5188 on Private Security Services, based on a preventive security approach. In this context, security services are provided through campus entry and exit controls, patrol services, consultation and guidance activities, monitoring of suspicious situations, intervention in incidents, and effective use of camera and security systems.

Risk analyses are conducted to be prepared for possible emergencies, natural disasters, and unexpected events; work is carried out in coordination with relevant units and external stakeholders in line with emergency and crisis management plans. The professional knowledge and skills of our security personnel are continuously developed through in-service training; duties are performed in accordance with human rights, ethical values, and institutional responsibility awareness.

The Security Department aims to closely follow technological developments and integrate modern security practices into campus life, creating a peaceful, safe, and sustainable education and working environment in collaboration with university components.
