In 2013, within Istanbul Aydın University 

and was founded under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sâim YEPREM.

TARMER's primary mission is to “conduct activities aimed at recognizing and promoting our culture and social structure within the framework of scientific data” and, at the same time, to “contribute to universal peace by revealing the interactions between different cultures in our society.”

Therefore, it is necessary to analyze not only the examination of our own culture and social orientations, their correct recognition and promotion, and the fundamental problems in the social sphere (declining literacy rates, the breakdown of the family structure, rising divorce rates, the failure to establish equal opportunities in education, unemployment, social polarization, increasing tendencies toward violence in society, etc.) are analyzed, as well as revealing the interaction between different cultural structures that represent a wealth of diversity. This comprehensive approach to social services is the fundamental mission of TARMER.

The vision of the Center for Social Research and Application is to be an active research center that, within the framework of this fundamental mission, attains multifaceted and universal knowledge without being bound by any particular worldview or perspective, shares the large-scale data obtained through its research with society, and contributes to the solutions produced to understand and overcome the social problems we face through effective initiatives.
