Admission, Recognition & Transfers

Admission of students to the Foreign Trade Program is carried out through the central placement system administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in accordance with the current legislative provisions regarding the transition to higher education. Students who are entitled to register for the program begin their education within the framework of the relevant legal regulations.

The recognition and exemption procedures for courses previously taken at another higher education institution are evaluated in accordance with the relevant regulations and directives of the University. Courses in which students were successful can be recognized by the decisions of the relevant boards, taking into account content and credit compatibility, and exemptions can be granted within the scope of the program.

Lateral transfer, vertical transfer, internal transfer, and special student admission procedures are carried out according to the principles determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the relevant legislative provisions of the University. Graduates of the program have the opportunity to continue their education by transferring to relevant undergraduate programs via the DGS Exam.

In order to support student mobility, the learning outcomes achieved within the scope of national and international exchange programs are evaluated within the framework of the University's recognition and adaptation processes. Thus, it is ensured that the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired by students in different educational environments are recognized academically.
