Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim is to teach the fundamental physics concepts necessary to understand the operating principles of biomedical devices. It also seeks to enable students to apply physics topics such as mechanics, fluid dynamics, optics, sound and acoustics, electricity, magnetic fields, heat, electromagnetic waves, and radiation in the processes of troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of biomedical devices.
Course Content Units, SI system, Measurement and Calibration, Basic Mechanics, Fluid Physics, Optics, Sound and Acoustics, Electricity, Magnetic Fields, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic Waves and Radiation Physics.
