Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Terms of medical imaging, X-ray based imaging modalities, ultrasound imaging device, endoskops and its parts.
Course Content Introduction to medical imaging, x-ray based imaging modalities, film processing systems, ultrasound and endoscopes.

Weekly Course Subjects

1The basic terms of medical imaging.
2Types of radiation, the dose defines units.
3X-ray tubes, collimators and mechanic structures of the Rontgen systems.
4Image methots of Rontgen systems and power systems.
5Imaging modalities based on Rontgen.
6Film processing systems.
7Ultrasonic transducers, absorbtion, reflection and scattering mechanism.
8Scanning mode of ultrasound system and doppler.

10Artefact of ultrasound imaging and phantoms.
11Endoscopy systems and its telescope types
12Arthroscopes and neuroendoscopes
