Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	In this course it is aimed to gain knowledge and skills about fault analysis.
Course Content	Student will be able to perform system analysis in accordance with occupational safety standards in electrical laboratory and fix any detected failures.

Learning Outcomes

As a technician, identification, description and solution of problems and utilizing appropriate practical methods with simulation and modelling techniques
Design and realization of basic application circuit, solving problems on the circuit, analyzing and interpretation of output
To be able to understand basic concepts and terminology, and use them for the field of biomedical technology
To be able to understand the physiological signal processing techniques and test the components involved in measurement applications
Having adequate knowledge in areas of basic mathematics, physical sciences and their field
To be able to develop independent decision making skills, to work as a team member in the same and different disciplines, to gain the knowledge on professional and ethical values and marketing and safety
To be able to establish cause-effect relations with the medical knowledge and technical skills
Understanding and analysing a current system, system component or process
Ability tu use theoretical and application information on mathematics, sciences and biomedical devices to sovle situations they can meet in technical work.
To be able to manage and inspect all biomedical systems for compliance with medical safety standarts and regulations
Designing basic gadgets upon need
To be able to test and measure the medical device using with circuit analysis techniques
To be able to design and construct the small scale project with in-depth technical training and hand-on experiences
To be able to perform tasks relating to administrative functions, preventive maintenance and calibration

To become an individual who have the understanding of the importance of lifelong learning, and the one who can follow up the technological and scientific advancements and to make a progress

To be able to understand the electromechanic, hydrolic, pnomatic systems in biomedical equipments and appyl them to troublehoot medical equipment and support system

1	comprehend the principles of today's maintenance and fault finding
2	Be able to recognize failure warning and detection systems.
3	To be able to prepare fault flow diagram.
4	To be able to detect electrical-electronic circuit element failure.
5	To perform maintenance and repair works in electrical machines and systems
6	Block Diagram and Circuit Diagram Reading.
7	Testing Equipment and Usage.
8	To be able to check the stability of circuit components.
9	Midterm
10	Fault and maintenance cards in the working environment equipped with recording equipment and catalogs.
11	Archiving operations in working environment equipped with recording instruments and catalogs.
12	To be able to read catalogs related to the profession in the working environment equipped with recording materials and catalogs.
13	Creating a new fault and maintenance card.
14	Creating Database with Computer Programs
