Due to the increasing population and developing tourism sector and touristic facilities in our country, the cookery education given in universities has gained importance and the demand for this education has increased greatly. The development of travel opportunities has also affected domestic and foreign tourism and increased the need for qualified personnel trained in food and beverage services in these facilities. Istanbul Aydın University Anadolu Bil Vocational School Cookery Program was established in 2015 with the aim of training young cooks who are equipped with superior knowledge and skills, who can compete in the international arena, to meet the need for experienced staff who have a command of the region and Turkish cuisine in tourism enterprises, various (restaurants, etc.) places, to ensure the protection of the rich Turkish culinary culture in an academic environment and to promote this culture internationally.
