The academic, technical, and administrative staff working at Istanbul Aydın University's Culinary Arts Program play a significant role in the effective, efficient, and sustainable conduct of education, training, application, research, and sectoral collaboration activities. Academic staff are responsible for conducting theoretical and practical courses at the associate degree level, preparing and developing course content in line with current developments in gastronomy and culinary arts, planning training activities in the application kitchens, and carrying out activities aimed at increasing students' professional knowledge, skills, and competencies. In addition, within the scope of academic advising activities, students' academic development is monitored, their career planning is guided, and application and internship processes aimed at gaining sectoral experience are supported. The academic staff contributes to the academic and professional development of the program through scientific research, sectoral projects, publication activities, and public and private sector collaborations. The technical and administrative staff working within the application kitchens are responsible for the effective, orderly, and safe operation of the training environments. Within this scope, they carry out the maintenance and inspection processes of kitchen equipment, support the preparation stages of practical lessons, and ensure the implementation of food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety rules. Furthermore, material and equipment management, inventory tracking, documentation processes, and providing technical and administrative support to students and academic staff are also among the responsibilities of the technical and administrative personnel.
