About the Integrated Master’s Program

Istanbul Aydın University Graduate School has launched the Integrated Master’s Program.

What is the Integrated Master’s Program?
The Integrated Master’s Program is a special academic model that allows highly successful undergraduate students to take certain master’s-level courses while they are still continuing their undergraduate education. This program aims to support students’ academic development, strengthen their professional background, and enable them to begin their graduate studies in a more planned, well-equipped, and accelerated manner.

1- Application Requirements
To apply for the program, applicants must meet the following conditions:
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.00 or 75/100,
• Successful completion of all courses taken up to the semester of application,
• Applications can be submitted earliest at the beginning of the 7th semester,
• Applications may only be made to the integrated master’s program directly related to the student’s currently enrolled undergraduate program,
• Students enrolled in International Joint Undergraduate Programs cannot apply due to attendance obligations.

2- Education and Course Processes
• While continuing their undergraduate studies, students may take a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 master’s courses per semester,
• These courses appear on the transcript as non-credit and are not included in the undergraduate GPA,
• Students are required to complete their undergraduate program within a maximum of 8 semesters.

3- Final Registration Requirements
To be fully registered in the master’s program, the following conditions must be met:
• A minimum undergraduate graduation GPA of 3.00/4.00 or 75/100,
• Meeting additional requirements such as ALES score and foreign language proficiency, if required by the program (ALES is not required for non-thesis master’s programs),
• If any of these requirements are not met, final registration to the program cannot be completed.

4- Other Provisions
• The number of students to be admitted is determined by the Senate upon the recommendation of the Graduate School Board and cannot exceed 20% of the total quota of the related graduate program,
• Students are required to complete their undergraduate program within 8 semesters. After graduation, they must complete their final registration to the Graduate School in the first semester following graduation. If the final registration requirements cannot be met, master’s courses taken during the undergraduate period are converted into credit-bearing courses and evaluated accordingly,
• Applications to the program must be submitted to the relevant Department Heads through the Graduate School student affairs.
