The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (English) Program collaborates with various institutions and organizations to support students’ professional development. Interdisciplinary collaboration is maintained with other faculties and departments within the university, including departments within the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Graduate Education Institute, and Istanbul Aydın University Research Centers.

Full-time and part-time academic staff involved in the program play an active role in delivering educational and practical training processes. Administrative staff support academic activities related to course scheduling, examinations, and student affairs.

External collaborations include academic interaction with Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Departments of other universities to exchange knowledge and follow best practices. Institutions providing employment opportunities contribute to students’ clinical training and field experience. In this context, Istanbul Aydın University – Medical Park Training and Research Hospital is a key partner supporting practical education. Units affiliated with the Provincial Health Directorate are also among the program’s sectoral collaborators within the scope of public healthcare services.

Professional organizations such as the Turkish Physiotherapists Association, Sports Physiotherapists Association, Pediatric Physiotherapists Association, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Physiotherapists Association, Geriatric Physiotherapists Association, and Hand Therapists Association are important stakeholders supporting professional development and awareness of current practices.

Collaboration with society, non-governmental organizations, and media aims to enhance the visibility of the physiotherapy profession and strengthen the program’s social contribution. Although a formal advisory board has not yet been established, the creation of advisory structures based on input from sectoral stakeholders is planned for future implementation.
