The Mechanical Engineering (Turkish) Undergraduate Program regards the business world and industry representatives as indispensable external stakeholders of the educational ecosystem. Through long-standing industry collaborations, the program extends students' professional development beyond the boundaries of the campus.
Mandatory internships and in-semester practical studies are carried out in coordination with leading companies within the framework of university–industry cooperation. This enables students to become familiar with professional work culture and observe engineering problems on site prior to graduation.
Industry-Oriented Curriculum Design
To maintain the relevance of educational quality, feedback from employers and industry representatives is of great importance.
- Continuous Improvement: Employer surveys and industry advisory board opinions are carefully evaluated together with graduate survey results.
- Needs-Oriented Education: The analyzed data directly contribute to aligning program outcomes and course contents with the evolving needs of the industry (Industry 4.0, sustainability, digitalization, etc.).
As a result, engineers with high employability and competencies demanded by the business world are educated.
