The Mechanical Engineering (Turkish) Undergraduate Program places great importance on accreditation processes to certify educational quality at national and international standards. The program conducts its educational activities based on the criteria of MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs) at the national level and ACQUIN (The Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute, Germany) at the international level.
In line with these standards, a student-centered "Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance System" is implemented in the department. The program is currently carrying out application preparation studies for both MÜDEK and ACQUIN accreditations with great diligence.
Within this preparation process:
- Program outcomes and course learning outcomes,
- Measurement and evaluation methods,
- Feedback from students, graduates, and industry representatives (stakeholders)
are regularly monitored and analyzed. The data obtained are effectively used to update the curriculum and mature the accreditation application files for both institutions.
