​The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture within Istanbul Aydın University was established on May 18, 2007. From its inception, the faculty began admitting students by adopting a contemporary, innovative, and practice-oriented educational model in the fields of engineering and architecture. Over the years following its establishment, several structural changes were made within the faculty. In this context, the name of the faculty was changed to the "Faculty of Engineering" on April 22, 2013, and it has continued its academic activities under this new title.In line with the university's vision of "A Bright Future," the Faculty of Engineering aims to educate innovative engineers who can think analytically, use technology effectively, and compete on a global scale. To this end, it offers a dynamic academic ecosystem supported by national and international project competitions, research activities, industry collaborations, and student clubs. Over the years, our faculty has expanded its program diversity, strengthened its academic staff, and enhanced its laboratory infrastructure, achieving a structure that supports practice-based education. Through national and international collaborations, research projects, and quality assurance efforts, it continues to develop its institutional capacity.
