The Elementary Mathematics Education Undergraduate Program continues to monitor and support the professional development of its graduates after graduation. Communication with graduates is maintained in a regular and systematic manner through the Graduate Information Survey available on the program's website and a WhatsApp Community that includes program alumni.
In order to collect graduate feedback and effectively integrate it into program improvement processes, the program widely employs direct feedback mechanisms such as online surveys, face-to-face meetings, alumni panels, and various alumni-related events.
At the faculty level, a Graduate Tracking Committee was established in 2021 to monitor the employment status and professional development of graduates. Information regarding the committee's working principles and procedures can be accessed via the Graduate Tracking Committee section under the Committees tab on the faculty's website. In addition, the program has a faculty member serving on the Graduate Tracking Committee, which ensures that graduate tracking and monitoring activities are effectively supported at the program level.
Furthermore, in order to maintain continuous communication with graduates and strengthen alumni relations, the program has established a social media account operating under the name "iauimezun", which is actively used. Students' achievement of program competencies is systematically monitored via the Istanbul Aydın University Education Information System, which publishes Program Competency – Achievement Rate data. According to these data, students demonstrate knowledge competencies (e.g., teaching methods, student characteristics, assessment and evaluation) and skill competencies (e.g., lesson planning, classroom management, communication) at a success rate of 83–84%.
Graduates particularly excel in managing the teaching-learning process, developing appropriate materials, effective communication, and conducting assessments. These outcomes indicate that the program operates effectively according to its defined professional competencies and that graduates are well-prepared for their teaching careers.
