In the Arabic Language Teaching Program, student participation in decision-making processes and the collection of student feedback are ensured through institutional mechanisms established at both the university and program levels. Students contribute to academic and administrative processes through student representatives who take part in program and departmental boards.
Student opinions and feedback are systematically collected through course and instructor evaluation surveys, program evaluation surveys, and regular meetings with student representatives. The feedback obtained is used to monitor and continuously improve educational and instructional processes.
In addition, the IAU Solution and Advisory Desk, operating within Istanbul Aydın University, serves as an important feedback and support mechanism through which students can directly submit their requests, suggestions, and complaints. Located at the center of the main campus, this unit provides information, guidance, and solution-oriented support primarily to students, as well as to academic and administrative staff and external visitors.
Moreover, students can submit their feedback online via the University’s Feedback System at https://geribildirim.aydin.edu.tr/. Submissions made through the system are handled within a structured process that includes the receipt of the application, evaluation, referral to the relevant units, and the collection of feedback through a satisfaction evaluation survey at the end of the process. All applications may also be evaluated anonymously, in accordance with the principle of confidentiality.
To support students’ academic, social, and personal development, the University also provides individual psychological counseling services. In addition, students’ active participation in university life is encouraged through the academic advising system, student clubs, scientific and social activities, and online communication channels. These practices aim to strengthen student engagement and ensure the continuous development of the Arabic Language Teaching Program.
