WRITTEN WORK COMPETITION

(2017-2018)

The Social Research Application and Research Center (TARMER),

which first took place in 2015, is organizing the second edition of the

"HALİT AYDIN SCIENCE AND RESEARCH AWARDS"

this year!

    İstanbul Aydın University - Social Research Application and Research Center (TARMER) organized the first edition of the 'Halit Aydın Science and Research Awards' in 2015, and it has been announced that this event will be held biannually. The second edition of the award will take place in 2017.

         This year, the theme selected for the awards is 'Factors Affecting Divorce in Turkey in the Last Five Years and Its Consequences'. This topic aims to bring the causes and effects of divorce, which negatively affects our society, into the public debate. We expect academicians, journalists, writers, and social researchers interested in the topic to participate in the competition...

With this competition;

'The causes and effects of divorce, which negatively affects our society, in the last five years'

will be brought to the public agenda

AWARDS

First Place: 25,000 TL

Second Place: 15,000 TL

Third Place: 10,000 TL

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF WORKS: DECEMBER 31, 2017

COMPETITION RULES

1)      All authors except TARMER members and the competition jury can participate in the competition.

2)      The submitted texts can be in the form of

         'article', 'essay' or 'scientific research'.

3)      The texts must use the living language and follow writing rules.

4)      Works prepared by a single person or by a team can participate in the competition.

         

5)      The work must not have been published elsewhere.

6)      The texts must be formatted in A4 size with 12 point, 1.5 line spacing

          and the font must be Times New Roman with an average of 50 pages.

          (40 to 50 pages)

 

7)      The first-place winner will receive 25,000 TL, the second-place winner will receive 15,000 TL,

           and the third-place winner will receive 10,000 TL in cash.

8)      Participants should submit their works along with short biographies

          to [email protected] no later than December 31, 2017 via email, and confirm receipt.

9)      The competition results will be announced on the İstanbul Aydın University website, www.aydin.edu.tr
          and on the TARMER website.
