Program Objectives
1. To train social service professionals who possess fundamental, current, and practice-oriented professional knowledge in the field of social services.
2. To ensure that graduates possess the professional competence to support social service processes in public institutions, local governments, private organizations, and civil society organizations.
3. To ensure that graduates are able to carry out their professional duties in accordance with the principles of human rights, social justice, ethical responsibility, respect for differences, and social sensitivity.
4. To ensure that graduates possess sufficient competence to contribute to basic assessment, referral, monitoring, reporting, and support processes in services directed at disadvantaged individuals, families, groups, and communities.
5. To ensure that graduates develop into individuals who can follow developments in the field of social services with an awareness of lifelong learning, career development, teamwork, effective communication, and professional responsibility.
Program Learning Outcomes / Goals
1. To enable students to learn the fundamental concepts, theoretical approaches, fields of practice, and professional roles and responsibilities related to the field of social services.
2. To ensure that students acquire knowledge of social work legislation, human rights, social work ethics, social policy, and services directed at disadvantaged groups.
3. To develop students' skills in recognizing and analyzing social problems that arise at the individual, family, group, and community levels, and in contributing to the process of resolving them.
4. To enable students, through On-Site Practicum courses and the summer internship, to become familiar with institutions, engage in professional observation, participate in teamwork, and develop their practical skills.
5. To strengthen students' social sensitivity, communication skills, and awareness of professional development through social responsibility activities, professional events, stakeholder opinions, and feedback.
