Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim is to enable students to reinforce the knowledge, skills and competencies they have acquired during their education by applying in the sector in a field they are interested in, and to gain work experience, and thus to facilitate their adaptation to business life.
Course Content On-site Application Coordinatorship is planned and executed together with the advisors of the student's institution and the official at the workplace where the on-site application is made. These activities include learning and application activities for students to gain practical experience by taking part in the studies carried out in their fields, depending on a work environment where on-site application is made. At the end of the on-site application activity, the student submits a written report to the department or program to which he/she is affiliated, which will be prepared in accordance with the “On-Site Application Directive” of IAU and approved by the workplace where he/she has applied on-site.

Weekly Course Subjects

1Completion of the bureaucratic procedures between the institution and the university where the On-Site Application will be made
2Completion of student orientation.
3Conducting a basic level study in the field.
4Taking responsibility as a team member to solve unforeseen complex problems encountered in applications related to the field
5Evaluation of basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field
6Carrying out activities within the framework of a project
7Identifying and meeting the learning needs related to the field.
8Establishing the relationship between the lessons taken and the applications and meeting the problems encountered in the applications with the lessons taught in the program.
9Midterm Exam Week
10Use of information and communication technologies together with the computer software required by the field
11Transfer of ideas through written and verbal communication at the level of basic knowledge and skills on subjects related to the field
12Sharing ideas and solutions to problems related to the field with experts
13Being able to follow the information in the field and communicate with colleagues using a foreign language
14Preparing reports for solving problems that may be encountered in practice
