Mission

To train child development professionals who possess research and problem-solving skills, are capable of continuous self-improvement, and work for the benefit of society, through an education system that meets universal standards. The program’s mission is to be an associate degree program that trains child development professionals who can holistically assess the cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, and self-care development of children aged 0–18; provide protective, developmental, and guidance services for children, families, educators, and the community; and who are committed to children’s rights and professional ethical values.

Vision

Through high-quality theoretical and practical education delivered across the broad spectrum of the child development field—including preschools and daycare centers, special education and rehabilitation centers, and municipal child services— to become one of the leading associate degree programs in the field by training “Child Development Professionals” who are highly sought after at both national and international levels, possess strong competencies in developmental support and intervention, and have a high level of ethical awareness, thereby contributing to meeting the sector’s need for a qualified workforce.

My dear students who have just joined the IAU Family,

I know very well how meaningful and unforgettable the day you start with excitement and the rightful pride and joy of being accepted into a higher education institution is.

You, the Turkish Republic you are in now. You have the ID of İSTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY ANADOLU BİL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL. With this identity, you will create differences by adding value to your personality and career through the social and academic experiences you will receive here. You, dear young people, the real owners of this institution, welcome to the IAU family.

My dear second-year students, you have left another semester behind with the excitement of starting a new year. All the gains you have gained from the experiences of the past period should be able to shed light on the time you are in.

I have full faith that by working harder with the mission given to you by Istanbul Aydin University, you will set sail for many successes with firm steps in the light of science and reason. You know very well that for this you have to work, work hard and work again.

Dear young people, I hope that the 2022-2023 academic year will bring health and happiness to all of you, I sincerely wish you success in this life journey, and I embrace you all with love.
