WE WILL HEAL OUR WOUNDS TOGETHER...CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IN GAZIANTEP NURDAĞI.

Head of Child Development Program Lecturer Tuğba Eryiğit, Lecturer. Niket Çelik and our volunteer program students took part in Nurdağı Container City Campus. 

Psychosocial support was provided to the children in the region, especially to help children overcome the earthquake trauma and help them in their recovery process. Through many activities, children were encouraged to play games, reveal their creativity and have fun, thus supporting their recovery. With the awareness that it is very important to listen to children after the disaster and encourage them to talk about their feelings and concerns by allowing them to reveal their emotions, we organized activities that will contribute to the development of their social-emotional skills.

We celebrated May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports Day with children, young people and adults with enthusiasm. We believed in the power of togetherness even more with the various activities we carried out throughout the day on the field.

We worked with all our strength to reach as many children and families as possible...We will continue to work for every child to live their childhood!
