As the Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Department of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Istanbul Aydın University, we bear the responsibility and excitement of training qualified professionals who will shape the future of this dynamic sector.

The main objective of our department is to prepare competent aircraft maintenance specialists and technical personnel, meeting the international standards required by the global and national aviation sectors, in the most comprehensive way possible. In this regard, we center our curriculum on the standards set by civil aviation authorities (SHGM, EASA), and integrate theoretical knowledge with practical courses using our strong technological infrastructure and modern laboratory facilities.

Throughout our education, we not only provide our students with technical competence in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting processes of aircraft fuselages, engines, and mechanical systems; we also aim to cultivate individuals with analytical thinking skills, a strong understanding of ethical values, and the ability to quickly adapt to sectoral developments.

Our graduates; Graduates can shape their careers as technical experts, maintenance engineers, and managers in a wide range of fields, from national and international airlines to defense industry organizations, from aircraft maintenance and repair (MRO) centers to airport operators.
