Since its establishment in 2003, Istanbul Aydın University has launched numerous associate and undergraduate programs and has become the largest foundation university in Türkiye in terms of student population. With nearly 50,000 students, Istanbul Aydın University continues its leadership in this field, drawing its strength from its accurate identification of the needs of today's and tomorrow's professions, as well as the high quality of education and training it provides.

The Department of Pilotage at Istanbul Aydın University was established with the aim of training civil pilots at both national and international levels, taking into consideration the global demand for pilots. As an Approved Training Organization (ATO) authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA/SHGM), our university has built its pilot training program on solid foundations through its cooperation with ERAH Flight Academy for flight training.

Our esteemed students who join the Istanbul Aydın University family by achieving success in the ÖSYM examination will, at the end of the four-year Pilotage Program, acquire advanced-level English proficiency, complete their modular training, obtain the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL-A), and begin their professional careers as commercial airline pilots.
